Jens-Peter (JP) Feidner has been Managing Director Germany at Equinix, the leading global digital infrastructure provider, since 2019. In this role, Feidner is responsible for growing the business in Germany and defining the company's local strategy, as well as driving Equinix's local sustainability efforts. Feidner has many years of experience in the data centre industry and has been with the company since 2014, most recently as Senior Director Business Development for the EMEA region. Feidner sees data centres as the foundation for sustainable digitalisation, which offers great opportunities for the economy and climate protection. In addition to his work at Equinix, he is also a member of the advisory board of the German Datacenter Association e.V. ( GDA) and is involved in the digital associations Bitkom e.V. and eco - Association of the Internet Industry e.V. to promote a sustainable, secure and strong digital transformation in Germany.
